You can do just that in the revolve dialog.  The axis does not need to be internal to the sketch. Welcome to the forum, Cheng!

Frank, the Creo 3.0 F000 is avialable on the software downloads page. Just keep in mind you will have to update your license file to run 3.0. Just found that out when trying to start it the first time....
