That curve in the sketch was a spline and the end was not aligned properly to the ends of the revolve. I replaced that spline by projecting the edge of the Revolve.

Re: Firefox ESR setting for WC and Creo View 4
Once we upgraded to WC 11.0 and Creo 4 the first Cad object you open with Creo, Creo makes you log into it.
This is intentional by design and will happen with all browsers.
From this article: https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/case_solution.jsp?n=CS237817
Out-of-the-box, Windchill 11.0 M010 is configured to use the new Creo View Agent launching mechanism:
- This mechanism will launch the Creo View Agent (pvagent.exe) on the client machine
- You will need to accept the browsers' request to launch the Creo View Agent and optionally check the box to remember the decision
- You may also need to accept the Windows User Account Control (UAC) prompt, if enabled, to launch the application
- Because this is a separate application from the initiating Windchill browser, it will also require you to authenticate again for the same Windchill server
- Once the Creo View Agent has been launched, however, it will not require re-authentication for the same Windchill server and user combination whilst it remains running (configurable)

Re: DRW to PDF in batch
Hi,
I used "PDF DRAW Multipage Export Visible" along with my config.pro. But the tasks submitted in Creo Distributed Batch are getting Failed. Please help me.!!

Re: Drawing Export Settings to PDF - Where's All the Color?
Tom,
In order for the text (and dimension lines) to show up in color in the PDF export, I selected standard colors and not system colors in the Format tab. The image in the lower right is a snippet from a PDF export and shows the .125 in blue and the 100.0° in black, because I changed the .125 to a standard color (I didn't try other system colors). Now, I have to figure out how to keep the standard color configuration turned on so I don't have to select this every time I make an annotation.

Re: Drawing Export Settings to PDF - Where's All the Color?
It doesn't matter what RGB value you change the system color "Letter" to, it will always output black. Unfortunately I don't know of any way to have annotations (dimensions, notes, tables, etc.) automatically use a different system color.

Re: Drawing Export Settings to PDF - Where's All the Color?
Just out of curiousity, what's the purpose?
Re: DRW to PDF in batch
I tried also to set up Creo Distributed Batch a while ago, but never managed to avoid these errors. It seems to happen randomly. At this time I opened a case on support, but it was never solved. And finally, I found it quicker to export my drawings one by one directly in Creo.
Re: Chamfer/Round
Hi MRV
Yes I forgot to use variable round and it works!

How can I insert a Symbol in a View State using Drawing Program?
Hi, all,
I'm trying to manage a drawing with almost 200 View States. One of my problem (beside the most important that I can't find a Tutorial) is that I can't insert a Symbol in a View State (a new one or editing an existing one). The Help Center says this about Detail Items which includes dimensions, notes, and balloon notes but NOT symbols:
To Create Detail Items in a Drawing State
To create detail items such as dimensions, notes, and balloon notes in a drawing state, choose Create from the DWG COMMANDS menu that appears when you click Tools> Drawing Program> Define States> Create State> Record Cmds. Items that you create in one state are not visible in any other state or outside of the drawing program.
Does anyone knows how to insert a symbol in a View State, please?
How to export 3D annotations to stp-file? (Creo 3.0 M080)
Is it possible to export 3D annotations from Creo 3.0 into a stp file? Want to make it visible in another CAD software ...
Re: How to export 3D annotations to stp-file? (Creo 3.0 M080)
Hi,
in https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS134385 I can see this information:
intf3d_out_annotations
intf3d_out_parameters
STEP
For annotation and parameter export support, set config.pro option step_export_format to ap203_e2 or ap214_is
- In Creo Parametric 4.0 use an Export Profile to set the Application Protocol to ap203_e2, ap214_is, or ap242_e1 and check the boxes next to Annotations and Parameters
Note: I did not test the above information.

Re: could any body give a review of creo parametric 3.0?
It sounds like Antonius needs to update to a newer build code.
Re: Symbol in a table cell
hello James,
i have a question: is it possible to add a relation in the model like this:
IF PARAMETER==YES
PARAMETER_2 = &sym(symbol)
ENDIF
thanks
Re: Showing Derived From Information on Drawings
We use a parameter and also have the luxury of an engineering checker. The parameter is a mandatory field to fill in if a 'similar-to' exists. That is one of the drawing review checklist questions.
Re: Drawing Export Settings to PDF - Where's All the Color?
Hi,
I opened Case at PTC Support and asked them ... why system color "Letter" is always output black ? One week has gone and no answer arrived. They are investigating the issue.
