Re: Shift surface problem

This was certainly a lot more work than I would have ever anticipated with the IDD. I used a combination of IDD fixes and surface removals and replaced them with native Creo features.Don't ask me how I...

Re: CREO 2.0 - M090 not on download site yet?????

I must not have a non-NVS enabled NVidia card because I can promise you that my Dell driver works and the NVidia driver does not.  Seriously, someone is posting some marketing hype that is simply not...

Re: How do you create moved parts/assemblies in drawing views?

Method 3 (dirty method): Place a view of just the moved components (simp rep, hide parts, subassembly) onto the drawing over top of another view of the main assembly.  Can change line styles, etc. and...

Re: Enhancement Requests for Creo - Now's the time to speak up!

Brian, Not sure if this is too old of a post to submit this too, but I'll try anyway. Shelling and thickening can many times be the biggest headache in complex modeling, Creo has added some tools to...

Re: How do you create moved parts/assemblies in drawing views?

Thanks for the input.  I was trying Method 1, but I need to move things exact numbers, and I do not see a way to do that with the explode tool. (could be me). I do something like Method 2 when I only...

Re: How do you create moved parts/assemblies in drawing views?

If it's a linear move, you can use the motion increment under options.  Then it will move in increments of the value you enter and it will be exact.  If you define your moving part as a mechanism (not...

Re: How do you create moved parts/assemblies in drawing views?

ok I see the motion increment creates an increment, you still have to grab and move the parts. I was expecting it to just move the parts and it wasn't.

Re: How do you create moved parts/assemblies in drawing views?

This is Creo, what did you expect?    I guess it largely depends on how the model was set up originally.  Things such as motion skeletons and assembly layout can help tremendously if created early on...

Re: How do you create moved parts/assemblies in drawing views?

What's the fastest way to select ~200 parts mixed in with about 400 parts?I tried hiding the ones I don't want, but the 3D Box still selects everything.  Also, the 3D Box turns off when the exploded...

Re: How do you create moved parts/assemblies in drawing views?

Ouch, that's quite the number of parts to move around independently.  Sometimes selecting via the model tree can be faster.  Other times via a query can nail all of them.  But for a query they would...

Re: Just moved to Creo 2.0 ...... I HATE IT!!! Does any else?

Agreed 1000%.  I have to listen to my new ex-Solidquirks Engineers complain about it constantly, how much "faster" SW is, blahblahblah.  And then there's all the endless Windchill problems we have......

Re: can't show set datums in family table items

Thanks for getting back to me, Dale.  The datum was created “through” one of the default datums, i.e. “TOP”.  It was renamed to “a” and set in the model, shown on the drawing of the first instance, and...

And openGL 3.0, I think the OIT is a openGL 4.0 function. I am assuming most people run openGL and not DX in Creo?

Re: Format parameter: ptc_wm_revisoin:d

I'm having the same issue.  I'm using the line:  &PTC_WM_REVISION:D IT works fine IF the dwg has been in Windchill already, and I'm replacing the file.  It is glitchy if I create a new dwg and try...

Format issues (&PTC_WM_REVISION:D)

We have older formats that use the old Intralink parameter (&PROI_REVISION:D) that works just fine when you create a new dwg that's never been in Windburn, er, Windchill.  I just updated our...

Re: Importing Iges/Step files into Creo Parametric 2.0 for Editing

So why do companies allow you to use these files but you have no way to edit the part in Creo 2.0? Just for viewing purposes? I'm trying to import just the hole into a block I've made but I cant even...
