Thicken while sketching sheemetal revolve (Creo 2.0 M050)
I have been looking but not finding an answer. I am trying to start a sheetmetal part with a revolve but I want to dimension to the ID in one section of the revolve, have a small offset and then...

Eric, This was an issue till Creo 2.0 M090 and corrected in M100. Check attached image

I am going to assume you need the manufacturing extension. We have discussed solid tool material removal along a toolpath in core Creo. The results meant some very extensive operations to achieve...

One has to guess - all computer modeling is mathematical. I do like the black/dark edges on the parts. Does Creo do that? When making presentations, it was always, copy Pro/ Engineer screen, paste to...

tthinking more about it, is knowing about surface construction and defining 3d geometry not even relevant anymore in the future of solid modeling in this industry?

So far, so good. They fixed the huge performance hit when creating assembly sections.

I thought I'd seen a report it had. I'll still use Photoshop to select the borders of the model image to increase the line thickness to emphasize the outer boundaries.

While not an option for Wildfire, apparently in Creo this has been improved: from usecreo dot com/ten-new-capabilities-of-creo-parametric.html 8)Selecting Sketcher Reference “On The Fly”Have you ever...

The bottomline: nothing great comes easy.

When you open each image, there's animation. Are you asking can Creo perform the animation? Or can Creo make the parts by relations with equations? Or both?
View ArticleRe: Can creo do this ? worm/helical gear in UG by mathematical modeling
ehh, I want to know can creo show the Meshingline like the pictures when two gear(Accurate model by mathematical),you see UG can do that actually
View ArticleRe: Can creo do this ? worm/helical gear in UG by mathematical modeling
The animations display a visual defect due to interference between model surfaces. Most graphics software can generate visual defects. Actual gears cannot interfere; two solid objects can't occupy the...

Yep, Ryan, It's like talking about some invisible things. It's cause Creo takes care all of that for the user, so they don't really need to know all of these things related to surface theory. Well, I'm...

Thank you. I will work on upgrading.

Hmm interestingly, mine is still set to the default "yes". So with the options:prompt_on_exit = nosave_objects = changed_and_specifiedI can create a new part. Close it (without explicitly saving), then...

Thank you Reinhard!I think I've understood the logic. I now have the settings:save_objects = changed (default is changed_and_specified)prompt_on_exit = yes (default is no)then when I want to close...

Is that the only object in session? The curious part is I do the exact same thing and get the ability to change which item is saved. But I have multiple objects in memory and none of them are new....
