Filters... if you know how to use them. I think you can even inverse filters using a .not. argument.
I -rarely- use filters because the UI drives me nuts.
You do have the Pro/Workaround® extention loaded, right?

If you want to do this for only a few dimensions, yes, you can make the parameter/relation for that dimension and use it in the dimension properties as appended text.
By default... and that is the whole premise behind drawing configs, is that everything is "the same". So if you change one setting, everything changes with it when set to their "default" values. In general, it is a preferred way of working for most applications. It tries to "follow the rules" of the trade.
Having said that, yes, it would be nice to format things individually for special circumstances. As standards have become more relaxed; or at least Corporate Policy methods are more varied, these locked applications actually stand in the way of getting things done.
I get the same regardless of which file (or a new) that I try to open.
I am no geek either so I can give you the basic IT Speak and say "Did you reformat your hard drive to see if that solves the error?"
Seriously, I would consider un-installing and re-installing the program to see if this resolves it. Maybe you had an upgrade pushed onto your computer and something got messed up. I just got past 3 days of IE10 problems when Microsoft pushed IE11 onto my machine. Magically, all the other problems disappeared.
Here's another good comment about the ribbon (the article is good too):

Wow! Jusr had an updgrade from Microsoft running (you, the ones that pop up automatically when you're shutting down or starting the computer once in a while). When I treid to start Creo I got the following message (and I've been running to program without issues for more than a year now):
"The activation check for Modeling Express
to run on this machine failed because of the
following reason:
The password you entered is invalid."
After resetting the password the same issues resurfaced and I can't use the program...

Hello David I change the dimension drawing Not A big Problem But The Arrow Size Remains The Same Throught All the sheets how to change this one any Ideaa
Arrow size is not governed by text size. In your Detail.dtl options, search "arrow". You can set their width and length. You can also change the section arrows independently from leader arrows.
@Joseph Lord I Don't think u can edit the key sequence it is better to edit new one this is an good idea
Hi,
I am making a model based on millimeter units.
I did once make a unit conversion from inches to millimeters.
I added some 5 parts with no problems to the skeleton model.
The latest par I am making acts funnily: I start After modelling the part, I copy the geomtery from the skeleton. With the ready part I am trying to assemble it to the assembly:
The part appears very very small, it is way out of scale compared to the assembly.
Apparently there is some problem, possibly with the units converted. When I measure the copied geometry, the measures seem to be exactly ok although in inches. After that I use file => prepare => Units => change. Even if I do not change the units the scale of the new part is totally wrong.
How would I solve this?
@Lee Casey this might help you guys here u can change line colour edge colour etc
It appears as if all the parts I add now have scaled down to miniature size.
Even those I delete from the assembly and re-assemble.
How would this be solved?
It appears as if the skeleton is in millimeter units and for some reason the parts have been converted to inches.
Could anyone explain how to prevent this further on?
Never mind, I've found one.

i started using filters in drawings, that worked out really well.
One area of Creo that I'm pretty impressed with is the Find tool.
What is lacking is, or maybe it's possible, a quick way to select some components in an assy in the window and isolate them.
I am creating a .hol chart file and I'm trying to apply tolerance to any of the dimensions used to create the feature using the .hol chart to apply those tolerances. The reason for this approach is to display the tolerance in the callout and not have to edit dimension properties to apply tolerance.
Example would be .125 drill, would like the callout to be .120-.125 drill. Is this possible or just a dream?
