In Creo 2.0, you get two options... since it is a selectable cell attribute, you unselect it. You can do this in the height/width dialog, or in the RMB popup menu. Not sure where they would hide this...

In that case, no. I get a lot of useless dimensions. Angle dimensions seem to be prolific in my parts. How often do you need a 360 degree or 0 degree dimension :)
